Adoption Application

In order to commence the adoption process please complete this application form. Once we have received your application, we will review the information and get in contact with you. We will require verified photos of your ferret accommodation and where applicable written approval from your landlord or home owner. If currently possible, a home check will be done after our initial conversations and before meeting the ferrets. We are based near Weymouth in Dorset (UK) so please be prepared to travel to us if needed.

As a rescue we are looking for a forever home for our ferrets as they have already been made homeless at least once before. There is no right or wrong answer as each ferret has different needs. The information that you provide will allow us to match you with the ferrets that will best fit in with your family. Please take the time to read our adoption process and for new owners explore our website for information on caring for ferrets.

All applications are subject to a satisfactory home check (or if not currently possible an verified accommodation check), agreement to our terms and conditions as well as a minimum adoption donation of £45 per ferret (subject to change). Your donation goes towards the neutering and microchipping costs of your adopted ferret. Any additional donation is much appreciated as our costs are not fully covered by the minimal donation.

At the moment there is a delay in replying as we are restricting adoptions due to the risk of Covid to the ferrets. Requests from previous adoptees will be dealt with as soon as we can but the actual adoption may have to wait until the risk is lessened. New adoptee applications will be put on hold until the situation changes except in urgent cases. If you have not heard from us then please be patient as we have other commitments as well.
